Well known Pennsylvania Tournament Director James Dalton Hiles sounded off on Facebook yesterday, one day before the start of his "Pitt Cup 2023" Tournament. It would seem the basis of his frustration stemmed from the fact that entries in his tournament dwindled from 128 a year ago to 48 this year. Further adding to this frustration was the fact that 39 people dropped out in the days leading up to the event, with 19 being no-show/no-calls. And while this issue is somewhat prevalent in other tournaments, apparently it has not been in his previous tournaments.
